| Welcome
to Cook, Netter, Cloonan, Kurtz & Murphy, P.C., providing legal service
throughout the Hudson Valley for over 100 years.
Our firm was established by Andrew J. Cook, Sr. in 1905 at Kingston, New York. Having served as Assemblyman in the New York State Legislature and as County Judge, Mr. Cook was later joined in practice by his daughter, Julia Cook Cloonan and his son, Andrew J. Cook, Jr. The firm continued as Cook & Cook for many years. Francis X. Tucker, former surrogate of Ulster County, and Robert Netter became partners with Mr. Cook and the firm became Cook, Tucker, & Netter, P.C. During the 1970s Robert Cook and William Cloonan joined the firm founded by their grandfather, and Eric Kurtz and Thomas Murphy joined a decade later. The addition of Michael Cook, great grandson of the founder, in 1999, established a fourth generation of dedicated attorneys providing legal service and highly experienced trial attorneys to the Hudson Valley and throughout New York State. |
