Eric M. Kurtz is a graduate of SUNY at Albany and received his law degree from the University of Buffalo. Admitted to the bar in 1986, he is also a member of the Insurance Section of the New York State Bar Association and served as an adjunct professor of law at the Ulster County Community College. Mr. Kurtz has served as counsel to the Town of Rochester and the Town of Ulster, and as a former Assistant District Attorney for Ulster County. Mr. Kurtz has also served on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Home of Kingston and as its President. Presently he is counsel to the Ruby Fire District. Mr. Kurtz has over 35 years of trial experience in both state and federal courts, and is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court. He concentrates his practice in civil litigation, municipal defense and insurance defense.
